Experiencing Sunflowers in Style 😎

August is almost over, but there's still time to experience the beauty of our Sunflower Field! We have an exciting weekend ahead of us:

Tomorrow, August 22 and August 23 are our annual Sunflower Festivals. Saturday hours for the festival are 10-4 while Sundays are 11-4.

Monday, August 31, is Yoga in the sunflower field from 6-7, and open sunflower hours from 5-8 pm.

Tuesday, September 1, is our chance to experience our sunflowers for Yoga in the Sunflower fie,d from 6-7.

The annual Sunflower Festival at Maize Valley features thousands of beautiful Sunflower blooms in shades of yellow, orange & red. Navigate the paths of the field and discover a new photo opportunity around every corner!
This event is held in conjuction with Heart & Home Marketplace. Not only is there a field of gorgeous Sunflowers, but also over 100 various artisans, crafters & makers displaying a wide variety of wares such as leather goods, artisan bread, custom jewelry, pet collars & treats, ceramics, woodworking, clothing, hats & so much more!
Wine, beer and food available both inside Maize Valley as well as throuout the outdoor marketplace. Sip, shop, listen to live music, take tons of photos, pick a bouquet and enjoy a beautiful day!
Reminder to please leave your furry friends at home and no outside food or drink is permitted.

Any great cruise starts with great cars – and we get a LOT of them. All years, all styles, all stages of restoration (or not), trucks, hot rods, classics, motorcycles and more. Join us this Thursday from 5-8 pm for great cars, great food, and great people!

Fall/Seasonal Employment:
If you are a highly motivated individual who might be looking for temporary employment, then our busy fall season might be for you. Admissions, concessions, paintball, corn maze, parking attendants and tractor drivers are all needed. We will start taking applications for our fall season in June and July, training starts in August and the employment season runs from early September thru October. Hours are primarily available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, however we also need staff for weekdays. The fall seasonal employment is a great way to earn some extra money!

Year-Round Positions:
Maize Valley is always looking for people who want to join our team. Whether you are a seasoned wine or beer drinker, have cooking experience, or are a young person looking for your first job, we have a wide variety of positions available.

Top qualities we look for are friendly, personable people who enjoy working with others and who like to meet and talk with people. Experience (although helpful in some positions) is NOT a requirement. You must be at least 21 to work behind the wine/beer bar. You must be at least 18 to work behind the deli. You must be at least 16 to work all other positions.

We offer flexibility of schedules, a casual and friendly working environment, and the opportunity to learn many new skills. Working at Maize Valley is typically fast paced and fun!
