DeLapp Mountain Ranch

DeLapp Mountain Ranch Our little ranch started in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and is now in the heart of the Ozarks in Missouri. We can't wait to share them with you!

We raise adorable ADGA Registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, Lavender (coming soon), and specialty chickens. Our family recently moved from the Colorado Rockies to the beautiful lush Ozark Mountains. We raise ADGA Nigerian Dwarf goats and will be planting our lavender shortly. We also partner with our daughter Grace and Aspen River Doodles to help raise multi-generation Aussiedoodle puppies. With love

and a dream we started our ranch with 1 horse and two little goats in 2021. We had our first set of triplets the next year and have learned so much along the way. Our sweet little herd has grown to 10 goats with a menagerie of coats and colors. This year we added some amazing genetics to the mix and look forward to the babies they produce. Our goats are our buddies and get lots of love and attention. We hand milk all of our goats and use that rich milk in our luxurious handmade soaps, lotions and beauty products.

So… over Easter, I got a few more bougie silkies to add to the farm… well, because fluffy chickens make me happy… and I needed some happy at that time…

Fast forward a couple months and I asked Brian to make me a coop for said silkies (there are 6 of these fluffy mini chickens).

As always, he’s amazing and jumped right on it… but you all know we never do anything small (It must be the residual Texas attitude to “Go big or go home”🤣)

Look at the start of our silkie coop…I mean, mansion and run! I will be able to see my bougie fluffy chickens from my barn porch swing!

And it’s big enough that I can add more silkies😆

9:55! This is why they warn about flash flooding. It can happen so fast. The borders of our creek are about 3.5-4 ft deep and yesterday it was a trickle of water, not even a few inches deep.
