Thank You!
Those words are just not enough to express our appreciation to this community, friends, family, travelers, suppliers and so many more that have supported Tommy Ray’s BBQ.
We have been truly grateful and blessed to bring true, authentic style, wood smoked Texas and North Carolina BBQ and share it with you over the past several years and especially over the past year. You have embraced us from the start.
As many of you know, this is a true family business. A dream that we talked about, shared and worked on together. The majority of our staff are our children, in laws, aunts & uncles, parents, sisters, nieces & nephews, lifetime friends and any others that just wanted to learn and help out on occasion. Even the ones that are not actual family, have become part of our family.
As time marches on, so must we. Time brings growth, challenges, blessings, possibilities, pot holes & speed bumps as well as opportunities to every day life. Some expected and some unexpected. When this happens, we have to be ready. It’s what we do and how we respond to each that really matter.
After months of pray, soul searching, endless conversations and family discussions, we have decided to close our brick and mortar location as of Monday May 18th. We now know that this is best for our family. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we move forward from this.
That does not mean we are halting all operations. We love making BBQ!
We are going to take a little break, but soon you may continue to see us at events, festivals, personal caterings, collaborations with other food establishments and more!
This community is special. If you want it to stay that way, continue to come together and always support your local, family owned small businesses. While none are perfect, they get up everyday and pour their heart and soul into it everyday for people like you.
Thanks again for letting us be a part of that community!
