Your words matter!

Whether they are spoken aloud, signed with hands, pointed to on a communication board, typed on a screen, or expressed in a way the world doesn't always recognize.

Words have the power to comfort the hurting, encourage the weary, teach truth, build faith, and remind someone they are loved. They can change the direction of a life!!

I think about those who communicate differently—through sign language, AAC devices, picture boards, and other tools that help their voices be heard. Their words are no less POWERFUL. Their thoughts, prayers, stories, and hearts carry the same value and purpose.

Our God is not limited by a single method of communication. He hears every prayer, knows every thought, and understands every heart. The same God who spoke the world into existence values EVERY voice He created!

Never underestimate the impact of your words—or someone else's. A message of hope is still hope, whether it's spoken, signed, typed, pointed to, or shared in silence through love and kindness.

Your voice matters because YOU matter! 🩷

There are so many reasons I thank God for my husband, but these last few days have reminded me all over again just how blessed I am to be his wife. While I’ve been sick, he has cared for me so tenderly while still carrying the weight of everything else—farm chores, homeschooling, and housework without complaint.

AND he’s also managed to keep our teenage son fed… which deserves a little extra praise because that growing boy can clear out a full pantry in one afternoon. 😂

My husband is strong, hardworking, and dependable, but what I love most is his heart. The way he loves, provides, and quietly takes care of our family never goes unnoticed. I am so thankful for such a good man and so incredibly blessed to walk through life as his wife. ❤️

Somewhere out there, maybe already growing beneath a heartbeat, maybe not yet conceived, I believe there is another child meant for our family. And tonight, I find myself praying for that little one.

Lord, wherever that child is, would You protect them. Would You hold close the mother carrying them too. Surround them both with peace, comfort, and love. If it is Your will for our paths to meet one day, prepare our hearts for each other. And if not, You are still good.

I will forever thank the Lord for the incredible blessing of my son. Adoption changed my life in ways I could never fully put into words. Through heartbreak and waiting, God gave us something so beautiful.

And even if our story never grows beyond the family we have now… God is still faithful. Still loving. Still worthy of praise.
