We had an amazing turnout Saturday selling brisket, plates, and rib plates. For those of you that purchased we would like to say thank you! Not for just supporting the business but for supporting Miss Harmony, she will truly be blessed and I pray you will as also! This plate sale was different. The enemy really tried to come against me personally and selfishly. I was thinking it was an attack on me and my business, but ultimately, I realized that he was trying to attack the ministry and the support for harmony, but the devil is a liar and I truly believe she will receive her blessing!
If I miss anyone, please charge it to my mind and not my heart. I would like to think My Wife Abby Harper for her organization, going to work late and also staying up late with me to make sure that this turned out to be what it is. She works hard behind the scenes to make sure that me and our team are set up for success. Next I would like to thank my aunt Jolanda Rickett for being so clutch in the kitchen, the idea and definitely always supporting and making sure our sides set apart from others. She truly pours her love into it. Also I would like to think her husband, Khalil, Rickett, and my brother Tysley Harper. As soon as they got to the church they were all hands on deck whatever was needed they did it and whatever they thought was needed they offered you guys really helped us this weekend and I couldn’t thank you enough. I would also like to think Flat Rock Church for allowing us to use the kitchen and to sell plates at that location. I will also like to think
Mr. Tommy Ray from Tommy Ray’s barbecue for pitching in a few extra wood for me to smoke.
My grandma Ann Sturghill helped prepare the collard greens. Vivian Curry also used her gifts in baking to support and once we let everyone know the peach cobbler was gone we had some good cake to offer to go towards this cause.
Last but not least I would like to thank
Miss Harmony herself. Her situation has shown me how to use my gifts, no matter how stressful how time-consuming how doubtful how tired I was to keep going forward, not just for me, but for her cause. To truly love someone is not about self. It’s about them and I truly believe as a Christian we are called to love those and be there for those in time of need!
