We have successfully wrapped up the spring lambing season and will not welcome any additional newborns until September. A deep cleaning of the barn has been completed, and all the animals are thriving in their newly refreshed environment along with warmer weather.

Hello everyone, due to time constraints, we have not been able to provide updates lately. Winter has been particularly harsh, and our focus has been on maintaining the well-being of everyone involved. The fall lambing season has wrapped up successfully with all lambs finding new homes. The winter lambing season concluded in mid-January, with the majority of lambs having received their first set of vaccinations. With spring lambing set to begin this weekend, we are preparing for a large group of young ewes, and we look forward to cooperative weather.

On Monday, we will pay tribute to the memory of one of our employees and, more importantly, one of my closest friends. Everywhere I look, there are reminders of him. He played a pivotal role in shaping this farm into what it is today. He had a deep affection for it, as if it were his own. We now share stories about him, shed tears over our loss, but remain eternally grateful for the opportunity to have known and loved Keith Emery. ❤️ Keith Emery

We have been extremely busy. Our fall-bred girls have been sorted and are now back home. October will mark the beginning of our fall lambing season. Meanwhile, we have been upgrading our feeding areas in the barn. The first group to try out the new facilities was a set of 20 bred ewes. Today, they will be leaving for a loyal customer of ours. Many of our girls remain in the pastures, and the rams will return this weekend to breed for spring. Notably, we have also welcomed 2 new LGDs, Levi and Delilah, from our local shelter, and they have adjusted remarkably well. ❤️

Lately, the coyotes seem to be growing bolder. We had to bring in reinforcements.
