The cucumbers slowed down but the beans and tomatoes are still growing strong! Cowboy Candy, Beans, several types of Verde Sauce! One small batch of potatoes but will still be harvesting regular and sweet potatoes at the end of the season.

Random pics from the Homestead today. Ducks, Silkies, Rye trying to act like a butterfly 🤷‍♀️, Loofah, unique water flower, Butternut squash, onion, Ramen pickled quail eggs, and what’s in the fridge you ask…who knows, note to self to start labeling the sides NOT the tops lol!!! Rain lines before the storm. This morning I also harvested Basil, Oregano, and Rosemary. Still need to get the Chives done. Oh, and that pan of mush - that’s the beginning of the Tomato soup 💕. Slowly we are transitioning from all prepackaged food to our own homemade items including spices and mixes. One step at a time.
