One day the founder of Brunches of Boston, Alie got fed up with her inability to quickly find a good brunch spot in Boston. Every weekend she would do a Google search and stumble upon the same couple of articles featuring the same top brunch spots or scroll through endless pages of Yelp desperate for the answer to her ever-imposing question:
WHERE SHOULD I BRUNCH IN BOSTON? And hence, Brunches o
f Boston was born. Originally just an Instagram account (), Alie set out to review every brunch in Boston based on a 1-5 scale using the same criteria for each (scroll down for more on the rating scale). After gaining traction as the preeminent brunch review account in Boston, Brunches of Boston has expanded into a full brunch culture brand and has launched it's official website brunchesofboston.com. In additional to it's signature reviews, Brunches of Boston partners with local businesses and restaurants to host awesome brunch events around the city to further enhance the Boston brunch culture. There are six total categories that each brunch is based on, each of which is assigned a number 1-5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Then the overall rating is assigned by considering each individual score and averaging a final rating. The six categories brunch is rated on are:
-Menu breadth
-Price
-Brunch Atmosphere
-Food Quality
-Food Taste
-Portion Size
We do not deduct points for alcohol, however if a brunch has exceptionally good brunch cocktails we will consider that in our rating and review.
