14 days until Trans-farm-ation! Will you be there?!

I've been working hard to fill the barn with some of my favorite q***r and trans artists, now I need your help filling the barn with all of your friends. The energy and sense of community that yall bring to this event fills my heart. And I think we all need a little of that right now.

Tickets are on sale now! https://www.woodstockilpride.com/event-tickets/p/trans-farm-ation-2025

I know our economy is openly hostile at this point and $40 is more than a lot of us can spare right now. The good news? A bunch of community members have already donated to cover tickets for others. If the cost of attendance is prohibitive for you, send me an email at [email protected] and I'll send you a code for a free ticket.

All proceeds benefit Woodstock Pride's Gender Affirming Care Mutual Aid Fund!

What does it take to get a barn full of q***r joy?
❤️About 5 months of planning by me and my friends at
🧡8 q***r and trans bands from near and far!
💛4 Q***r artists and vendors
💚About 150 of y'all to come dance, party, and hold each other gently.
💙A minimum of 8 sponsorships to help cover operating costs so that all ticket sales can go directly to the gender affirming care mutual aid fund.
🩵About 20 folks to buy sponsored tickets to hand out to folks who don't have the financial means to attend otherwise.
🤍 1 or 2 q***r owned food trucks who want to kick of their season right.
🩷A bunch of you to help me find all of the above! ⤴️

Trans-farm-ation is gracing the barn once again, on March 29th, 2025. My DMs are OPEN to all the help this wonderful community has to offer. I can't do it alone, and luckily, I don't have to!

⚠️ MARKET ALERT!

We've got a limited amount of ginger available this week at the

Freshly harvested, so tender and soooo fragrant. This is not your grocery store ginger. We're bringing the whole plant, because the stems and leaves make the most wonderful ginger tea, and make a great start to a broth.

Cultivating tropical ginger in the Midwest feels a little Sisyphan, (as can all farming at times TBH). We sprouted our seed stock back in February, transplanted it into our hoop house in May, and just harvested our baby ginger ahead of our first frost this week. Come see us at the farmers market this weekend so we can share this little delicacy 8 months in the making!

We're unapologetically pesticide free around here. Which means sometimes our produce looks like somebody (or some buggy) started eating it before it gets home to you. After all if somethings not eating you, you're not part of the ecosystem!

We love you for buying our bok choy even when its looking a little like swiss cheese, or when it comes with a bonus slimy friend.

This week, though, the bok choy is looking pristine. Don't ask us how. We're just the farmers. We did the same as we always do: transplant it, cover it in a fine mesh net (fine mesh net keeps the flea beatles away, but does nothing to deter the slugs). Same as ever, we didn't use any pesticides. But something kept the slugs away anyway this time around. Who knows if it will happen again, but enjoy it while it's here. Catch us at the this Saturday!

Carrot Alert! Baby carrots! Let's not tempt the fates by declaring this season's carrot crop a success, but our first carrot harvest of the season is coming to the farmers market this weekend! This variety shares a name with one of our favorite farm kids, Adelaide. This variety is meant to be harvested at baby size, so they're sweet and flavorful at this cute size early in the season.

Eve is harvesting solo this week, so come show her some love tomorrow for all the hard work she's doing today to get fresh produce from our farm to your plate!

Calling my farmer friends!

Help us reimagine the modern day Grange Hall as a transient and liminal space that manifests wherever farmers, farm adjacent folks, and farmers at heart may gather.

Join me this Sunday, June 23rd at

David is one of my favorite local farmers out here, raising ducks, chickens, geese, goats, and a whole mess of veggies. But most importantly, he welcomed us with open arms when we joined the farming community out here. He's always around to offer a helping hand, lend a tool, or share advice (and commiseration).

This Sunday, David is opening up his farm to the community for a potluck and solstice celebration. Come gather by the fire, wander the woods filled with fireflies (and fairies), share good food, and stories.
