Merry Christmas... in July! ☀️
Yes, this was our actual family tree from last December (we may have left it up a little too long).
Merry Christmas from all of us at Ben's! Who else is counting down the days? We're over halfway there! 🎄

We are hard at work preparing our fields for the upcoming harvest! All of our trees, including over 10,000 Fraser Firs, are 100% herbicide and pesticide-free. We provide the saws, the twine, and free wagon rides into the fields—you just bring the family and dress for the weather.

This has been in the works for a while... we can now officially say that we are the first and only Certified Naturally Grown Christmas tree farm in the Midwest! Certified Naturally Grown farms must follow the same (or higher) standards as the USDA's organic certification, but are certified by independent inspectors as opposed to larger paid agencies.
Ben started farming this way long before either CNG or the USDA's Organic program existed, so it was just a matter of finally getting our practices officially recognized and certified. We're so happy to be part of the CNG community!

Retroactively adding some drip line for irrigating our newly planted trees. Unfortunate timing for a dry spell, and the trees are thirsty!

Trying a power planter auger with a 60V drill to plant the last of the trees for this spring. This allows us to plant in between existing trees where the mechanical transplanter won't fit.
