Colleen is also Assistant Trainer to Kathy Connelly. CODD is based out of Elysium Farm in Harvard, MA. Colleen O'Connor-Dzik takes much pride in her work, dedication, and her focus of kindness and well-being for both horse and rider. Throughout the span of her young career, Colleen has had the distinct opportunity to have trained many successful young horses and has competed Training Level through
Grand Prix. Colleen has earned her Bronze and Silver Medals and is two scores away earning her Gold Medal. She has built a fine repertoire of training and competing young and mature breeding stallions. Most notably, Colleen trained and competed the KWPN Stallion, VDL Navarone from Training Level through Grand Prix. Colleen also trained and competed the Hanoverian Stallion, Schroeder in the Young Horse Divisions as a Four and Five Year Old. Along with having her own business, Colleen has the distinct honor of being Assistant Trainer to Kathy Connelly at Elysium Farm in Harvard, Massachusetts, with whom she has and continues to train with extensively. Colleen has also worked with a vast number of notable national and international trainers. Colleen was selected to ride in the 2007 NEDA Symposium with Olympian Ingrid Klimke at Intermediare I and in the 2009 NEDA Symposium with Christoph Hess at Intermediare II.
