Yesterday was National Day of the Horse. 🐴 A day to honor our world's progress.

What? What does this mean?

We'll, take a moment and think about it.

Horses were used to plow 🚜fields providing great nourishment to the people. Horses were used by the doctor to travel to the homes to care for the sick.

Horses were used to carry people to town to stock up on groceries and supplies. Horses were used to pull a buggy to allow people to travel.

Horses were used for a source of entertainment when they were raced or shown. 🎠

Horses helped bring people out west.

Horses helped carry the materials to build the railroads 🛤.

Horses were used to carry the ammunition, supplies, food, medicine 🚑 out to the front lines during the war.

Horses were used to build America. Keep us free.

Provide us with plowed fields to grow our food. Give us transportation. Provide entertainment. Give us an outlet to relax and trail ride. Help us hunt by packing our gear through the mountains.

They help foster great relationships. Provide support to those with disabilities. Teach patience, routine, discipline, time management. They teach hand eye coordination, refinement of motorskills, even helping someone build the skills to drive. 🚗 Kids on horses learn balance, courage, sportsmanship, friendship, and commitment. This list can go on and on.

I do know, that our world is a better place due to the horse.
I bow my head in gratefulness to the horse.

Thank you my friend.🐎💓

Horses aren’t born with metal hooves. They are born with something much more flexible. That structure has a natural mechanism that is often hindered by the typical modern day horseshoes. But how do you protect the hoof while allowing it to move… ➡️➡️➡️
