Everyone keeps asking if I’ll be making King Cakes + Queen Cakes again, so here’s the honest answer 🤍
Last season in my small kitchen, I baked over 150 King and Queen Cakes, and I truly loved every minute of it last year. It was exhausting, joyful, meaningful work — the kind you don’t take lightly.
I had hoped to secure renting a commercial kitchen to continue baking for the general public, but I haven’t had any luck. Because of that, I won’t be baking King Cakes for public sale this season. I will, of course, still bake for a very small circle of close family and friends.
That said… I didn’t want to walk away from King Cake season entirely.
This year, I’m offering in-home King Cake classes, and I’m also working on securing a location for those who don’t have a space to host. These will be four-hour, hands-on classes — much more in-depth than my Bread & Butter class — and I’d love to take you on the full journey with me.
Because the season is much shorter than last year, spots and dates are extremely limited.
