Marque's Market & Food Distributors Wholesale Market & Food Distributor Founded in 1949 by Willie Sr. Son Willie Jr. Willie Jr.

and Beatrice Marque, the company was originally a corner grocery store operated out of their home with a fresh chicken dressing station. joined the business in 1974 and decided the long-term future of the company lay in product distribution. With one truck, fifteen customers, and a limited product line consisting of fresh chicken, fresh eggs, and smoked sausage, he focused on food distribution. co

ntinued to service this segment and capitalize on growth opportunities by broadening Marque's inventory by 300 items.

3rd generation Steven Marque joined the business full time in 1996. Together with his father Willie Marque Jr., they have grown the company by increasing its distribution center and increasing SKU's over 4000. The dynamic duo also open a wholesale food market, Marque's Market, in 2006. Today, Marque's Food Distributors helps answer the needs of hundreds of customers throughout the metropolitan New Orleans Area and chain services across the Gulf Coast. Our knowledgeable sales staff undergoes constant training to better understand and satisfy customer needs.

The Marque Family has reached an agreement to acquire Eagle Packing Co., marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing capabilities into the fresh protein sector.

Eagle Packing Co., best known for its iconic New Orleans-style pickled meat products, has been a staple of the region’s culinary heritage since 1956. The acquisition preserves and builds upon that legacy while positioning the brand for future growth.
