Great couple of days with some great helpers. First, a visit from students at Marian Catholic HS in Tamaqua and Bethlehem Catholic HS in Bethlehem, followed by confirmation candidates from three local parishes, St. Faustina/Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Nanticoke/Lake Silkworth), Sacred Heart (DuPont) and St. Mari Goretti (Laflin) the next day. Lots of work done preparing for summer. Thank you everyone!

The farm goes Ivy League! Students from Princeton University put their books aside for the day and came to build a fence for us. We extended the goat area so that it now includes a section of woods. The goats love jumping over the rocks and logs and munching on the dead leaves. It will be a summer of fun for them! Our good neighbors Sandra and Isaac provided lunch. Fr. Zack celebrated the Vigil Mass for Laetare Sunday and gave a beautifully meaningful homily on the Prodigal Son. Thank you Aquinas Institute: Catholic Campus Ministry at Princeton University!

Many thanks for MU Mission, Ministry, & Service for starting our new fencing project - an expanded goat area for our growing herd. Also, to James and his dad Mike for cleaning out the goat shed/kidding jug to prep it for Lucy, just in time for her to give us twins!

Lucy had twins! Our little Nigerian Dwarf goat gave us a doe and a buck yesterday. Looking forward to goat milk this summer Larry Chapp!
