Our little farm was busy busy busy towards the end of 2021! We’ve been quiet for a while. Many additions and a few big projects. Time to get everyone caught up. Last weekend we picked up these 2 fluffies. Let’s give a warm welcome to the new barn kitties… Bruno and Mirabel ❤️

Recently one of our flock favorites, Snow, was grabbed by a bobcat. After weeks of careful and time consuming care we’re happy to report that she’s finally starting to show good progress! It’s still uncertain wether she’ll regain the ability to walk but she’s started moving and pushing with her legs so we’re pretty hopeful. She might be a bit spoiled now though 🥰 and came with us to pick pumpkins at Deeply Rooted!

This young broody mama bellows “no, you may not take my precious egg!” as she scoots it backwards with her foot 🙄 to which I reply… “chill, that’s not even a real egg” and then “owww you bit me you stinker” 😭😂😂

Discovered an elderberry bush on the property and made some elderflower syrup to add flavor to seltzer and other drinks. Now we wait for the berries to ripen for use in elderberry jam!
