The first major of the season is in the books!

Summer pigs aren’t for the faint of heart. They take patience, persistence, and families willing to keep working through the heat. Thank you to every family who chose to spend this summer showing with us.

We’re leaving the State Fair of Texas proud of our crew, with 16 sale makers and two Reserve Breed Champions. We know what went into getting these pigs to Dallas, and we’re proud of the kids who stepped into the ring with them.

This year marks 20 years of Lackey Livestock, and we have a whole new perspective on just how fast it all goes.

One day you’re helping a kid learn to hold a whip. Before you know it, they’re the one helping someone else.

That’s why Training Day is our favorite weekend of the year. Iron sharpening iron.

November 13-15 • San Angelo, TX

**Training Day is for Lackey Livestock customers only:** families who have purchased pigs from us or through us. If you’re unsure whether your family is eligible, please call Jason at (806) 787-3606.

**Registration closes October 4:** https://pci.jotform.com/form/262625119071150

Every Day is Training Day.
We can’t wait to spend this one with you.

There is a ton of excitement about the set of pigs in Abilene this weekend. The consignors have done an awesome job as always.

For us, we used a different group of sires on this set, and the result is as exotic a set of pigs as we’ve ever offered. We’re excited to get them to Potosi Live and see how they’re received this weekend!
