Northwest ISD will again offer free summer meals to children ages 18 and younger, as well as students with disabilities who are ages 21 and younger, as part of the federal Summer Food Service Program.

This year, meals will be offered at Clara Love Elementary School and Prairie View Elementary School from Monday through Friday through June 30. Breakfast will be offered from 8 to 9 a.m., and lunch will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Meals must be consumed on campus and can not be taken to go. Please bring a photo ID for check in upon arrival.

Thank you to Tidwell Middle School for hosting us today for a great sampling event with Yang’s!

Students had the opportunity to taste test Yang’s Mandarin Orange Chicken and Gluten-Free BBQ Teriyaki Chicken, then cast their vote by placing stickers on the board. Based on the results, both products were a big hit with students.

We always appreciate opportunities like this to hear directly from students and involve them in the menu process. Thank you again to the Tidwell team and Yang’s for a fun and successful event!
