Soybeans have made a nice comeback, and I am sure they will be a very major agenda point next week when Mr. Trump meets with Mr. Xi in Beijing.

Now here is a conspiracy theory that again could turn out to be one of these amazing coincidences! But if for some unbelievable reason it turns out to be based in fact, I would not be surprised if the Turks, Iranians & Iraqis get together and end the UAE 🇦🇪 for good.

I guess we will all find out if Mr. Trump or Mr. Wright will be correct. Off course the midterm elections might show what the US voters think!

It certainly would not be a major surprise!

**Frost/Freeze Threat To Start May**

Heads up...While highs will be in the 70s and even low 80s most of next week, and above normal temperatures are likely through most of April, a flip is likely by May. I mentioned about a week ago that there was evidence of a normal-to-slightly colder-than-normal pattern by the end of April into early May. The evidence is growing that colder-than-normal temperatures will arrive across a lot of the country. While it is too early to know how cold those temperatures will get at night, odds are high that we will have some frosty nights and possibly a freeze. This is not unprecedented by any means. We get frost in early May on occasion, but it is a warning sign to growers that, despite the very warm spring we are having, the growing season may start on time or even a bit late. We will keep watching it, but in a nutshell, cool-season (those that can take a frost) crops are fine to plant, but I would wait a month yet to plant any warm-season crops. At least that is what I am doing.

Will there be another freeze this year after this current cold wave?
