I just want to thank everyone who has been continuously reaching out for updates or saying they are still praying for my recovery! I’m so grateful for all the support. The latest is that I’m finally able to bear weight and start walking!! I wasn’t able to just jump up and go like I thought I’d be able to but I’ll get there. Just being able to stand was amazing. I felt so tall! 😆 The past 3 months have been really hard between trying to recover, not being able to care for my animals, and all the losses we’ve endured. But things are really looking up and getting better! Stay tuned for a really exciting fundraiser we are planning for the fall!! -Lauren

Life at a farm animal rescue is never boring. 🐴☀️

Welcome....... where every horse has a personality bigger than the barn. 🐴😂

It’s 95 degrees, we’re melting, and somehow the horses still have enough energy to argue over hay, splash every water bucket, invent new ways to make us laugh, and convince us they’re absolutely starving... five minutes after breakfast.

It’s hot, it’s chaotic, and it’s the best kind of crazy. We wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️☀️

To be honest, this summer has been tough. But we have some great news to share! Our sweet Chai has been adopted. She’s gone to a great mom who knows just what her feet need (she’s a farrier) as well as her heart. It was nothing short of amazing to see their bond upon meeting and we can’t wait to see how their journey together unfolds. Please help us in wishing them the best future together forever.
