I am very excited to announce we will be teaming up with Tim Wallace again this year to bring you a 5 course Thanksgiving inspired meal with w**e pairings. If you have joined us in the past you know how talented Tim is and how delicious his culinary creations are. Tim will share his menu with me and I will select a w**e to pair with each course.

The meal will take place at the shop on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:00pm. We have space for 20 guests. To reserve your space please call the shop at 402-705-0090. The cost per person is $100, which includes the w**e pairings.

Oktoberfest Event

Celebrate Oktoberfest German style not with b**r, but with w**e.

We welcome Amy from the German W**e Collective on Thursday, October 22nd to experience this unique event. I sourced 5 different German mustards from Frankfurt, Germany (I actually hauled them home in my suitcase last month and thankfully none of them broke) that are paired with German w**es. Yes w**e. Back Alley Bakery will make us homemade German style pretzels to act as the mustard delivery device with each of the 5 mustards paired to a different w**e.

To tease your appetite one of the tastings will be a Frankfurter Apfel Senf paired with a Karthauswerhopf Kabinett Feinherb Riesling.

Don't miss out on this Nebraskan take on a traditional Oktoberfest celebration. As always space is limited so please call the shop at 402-705-0090 to reserve your spot.

The new shelves will be finished tomorrow complete with 2 library ladders to access the high shelves.

The pumpkin patch is open!

We grow pumpkins on our farm and have started bringing them into town to sell at the shop.

There are carving pumpkins, decorative pumpkins and ones for pie. We had a good harvest today and will continue picking them and bringing them into the shop all month.

We have a few spaces for our scotch tasting left!

Tomorrow, September 14th we have an expert coming to do a Glendronach tasting and cheese + chocolate pairing. The event is at 6:00 and is offered at $75 per person. There are only 3 spots left.

Talk about coincidence. I was visiting Scotland the last 2 weeks to learn more about scotch and my very first tasting experience while there was with Glendronach! You will not be disappointed with the scotch and pairings.
