If you’re looking for a big, handsome guy with a great foundation and plenty of real-world experience, take a look at Big Mac! Standing at an impressive 16.3 hands, Big Mac is the kind of horse who gets noticed, but it’s his willing attitude and versatility that really make him stand out.
Big Mac has been under saddle all summer and is progressing very nicely in his training. He has a beautiful canter, picks up both leads, sidepasses, moves laterally, and has proven himself to be a very enjoyable trail horse.
And when it comes to getting out and seeing the world, Big Mac has already had some pretty fun experiences!
He has been:
🌲 Overnight camping
🚗 Ridden safely around traffic and on the roads
🏟️ Ridden in busy arena environments with plenty of commotion
🌲 Trail ridden
☕ Ridden through town and even stopped at the drive-through for coffee!
He also drives double, or single adding another dimension to his versatility. One of the things we really appreciate about Big Mac is his ability to take new experiences in stride. He has been exposed to a variety of environments and has generally remained calm and collected, which gives him a great foundation to continue building on.
He is easy to catch , trailers amazing, and great for the farrier (he is currently barefoot).
That said, we want to be completely honest about where he is in his training: Big Mac is not a finished horse. He has a solid foundation and is going well, but he still has more to learn in the arena for flat work.
He is SO willing and fun!
Please call, ask questions, or set up an appointment to meet this guy. Wed love to tell you about him!
