This 1938 Chevy was the first "grain cart" used by Nick Sr. in 1960. It holds 125 bushels of corn. The grain cart used at Ries Farms today holds 1300 bushels!

Every year we spread compost (decomposed grass and leaves) on our fields. The compost we spread helps to improve our soil quality, increase organic matter, reduce runoff and decrease our need for conventional fertilizers.
