It’s taken me all day to figure out what to write. I’ve lost a dear friend today, and our industry has lost one of the greats. Ivan Arnold a legend of a showman. He always had a kind word of encouragement, a “Hey there sweetheart!”, a contagious smile and that twinkle in his eye. His personality was almost too big to contain in one person. I valued his opinions and advice greatly, and considered him a friend and mentor. Mr. Ivan, I’ll miss shooting the s**t with you dearly at Northwestern Michigan Fair. It’s just not going to be the same without you this year at IISA Showman’s Extravaganza. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

Throwback to our last wedding pre-COVID. It’s was a beautiful, crisp fall day! On the menu was our beautiful Strawberry Poppyseed Salad, Grandma’s Potato Salad, Mac-n-cheese, Southern Bacon Green Beans, Mouth-watering Roasted Chicken, Pulled Pork, Dinner rolls, Lemonade and of course our famous Sweet Tea!
