Table grapes : Bluebell, Worden

Grapes are perfect for jam, jelly, juice, wine, and eating off the vineyard.

A bumper crop again this year, so we offer them as a Pick-Your-Own for $1/lb. Just coming ripe now and won't last long before the birds find them.

Let us know when you're coming, so we can point you in the spot to pick. No need for ladders. The fruit is nearly touching the ground.

Hawk Meadow Winery has grapes! Come pick your own to make delicious jelly, juice, or eat them straight. We are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 to 5, September 20-22.

Varieties available: Marquette, LaCrescent, Itasca, Worden, Bluebell

Cost: .80/lb

Location: 12250 - 120th St S, Hastings. Honk if you don't see us. We are around!

(Note: A 5 gallon bucket is about 20 lbs of grapes and will make over a gallon of juice.)

**Please bring your own containers for transport home. We do have some nippers you can borrow, but bring your own if handy.

Pick-Your-Own Grapes

Dear friends and community -

We are trying something new this year. Hawk Meadow, located at 12250 120th St S, Hastings is opening the vineyard to our community as a Pick-Your-Own spot. Grapes will be .80/lb for any of the varieties we grow.

We grow two white grapes - Itasca and LaCrescent. These grapes are good for making white wine, juice, and eating. We also grow Marquette. This is a red grape for wine making, juice, jelly, and eating. These three varieties are ready now and do have seeds.

In addition, we grow Worden and Blue Bell. These are table grapes best for eating, making jams and jellies, and juice. They have seeds. The table grapes are about a week behind the other varieties and will be fully ripe after Sept. 15th.

As a point of reference, a 5-gallon bucket filled to the brim is about 20 pounds. Please bring your own containers and a garden snipper or scissors. We have some clippers and plastic grocery bags, if you forget.

We will start our PICK-YOUR-OWN Sunday, September 8th at 1:00 and be open daily for about two weeks.

Hours may vary, but generally noon to 6pm. You can message me to check on availability or to answer other questions.
