Turkey Hill Regenerative Farm and Nursery Turkey Hill Regenerative Farm and Nursery is a 5 acre farmstead located in Granby, Ma. We are also raising pastured poultry and berries in Hadley, Ma.

Our nursery focuses on pollinator supporting plants, perennial edibles and fruiting bushes. Turkey Hill Regenerative Farm and Nursery started in 2010 as a small hobby poultry farm. Since then, over 200 fruit and nut trees and 100's of ecological plants and medicinal herbs have been added to the farm. THRF&N's works towards producing food and medicinal plants in a manner that enhances the ecology of the land.

Our 2022 weeding crew. We are raising 30 geese this season to be used for weeding. Grass weeds are much more problematic in farming than their broadleaf counterparts. The root systems of many grasses tend to regenerate after hand pulling if even the tiniest root piece is left behind, especially quack grass which we have a lot of. The geese won’t be able to remove any roots but we are hoping that they can exhaust the weeds, even the quack-grass with enough rotations. We will be fencing these geese with our mobile, electric fence to have them work an area and then more them to new sections. We’ll keep you posted on how this experiment works out. Also, we’re building some new mobile turkey structure like the one in this photo. Stay tuned to see photos of the build.
