Myers now carries fish! 🎉🐟 We are so proud to finally offer locally harvested, frozen seafood from Red's Best.

Red's Best was founded in 2008 by Jared Auerbach, a Boston fisherman who built a logistics platform to support community-based fishing fleets across the New England coast. Every catch is tracked from the moment it leaves the vessel so you can scan the QR code on the label and trace your fish directly back to the fishing team who caught it.

In Nicole's words: "Doing cold chain logistics is no small feat! The supply chain nerd in me is so excited. It's great to be able to offer this as a regional distributor and engage with the robust aquaculture scene in our region." We're also proud to be working with a company doing so much to steward this region. As Jared writes, "Most people don’t realize this but we are now drastically under-fishing the sustainable limits. In 2022, only 36% of the quotas set for the Mid and North Atlantic were harvested — leaving more than 750 million pounds of sustainable seafood in the ocean."

We're starting with bay scallops, bluefish, monkfish, haddock, skate, and striped bass - with more to come. Looking for something specific? Let us know!

Our friends at Momma's just opened a second spot! Or as the The Boston Globe calls it: "a cubby of curiosities in a bustling location." 🍦

That's our kind of place. Danielle opened Momma's in 2023 and built something really special - New England sourced groceries, maple creemees, and a real treasure chest of food in every square foot they have. The new location at the The Charles River Speedway in Brighton opened last week: cheeses, veggies, snacks, jams, eclectic drinks, and of course... creemees.

Momma's gets our mission and we get theirs. We've loved working with Danielle from the beginning and couldn't be more excited to see this next chapter.

Welcome to the list, Nightingale Farm! Dan and Jacqui Ferrari Heavens' farm, winery, and cidery (aka Quartz Rock Vineyard) is right in the heart of the Hudson Valley. They grow a wide range of fruit including some tough-to-find options: peaches, apples (including local cider varieties), pears, quince, plums, apricots, gooseberries, currants, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries - all hand-harvested. If you've been looking for Hudson Valley stone fruit or something a little more niche all from a family owned, black owned business... this is your farm! and their peaches are on the list now 🍑

Shoutout to the farmers, drivers, warehouse crews and more working in this summer's heat! 🌞 We see you and we're grateful. On our end, we got the Myers team together in person last week for the first time in a while. For a crew that's spread across Vermont, Western Mass, NYC, and beyond it always means a lot to be in the same room. Good people, good ice cream(!), and a reminder of why we do this.

Granola is on our list for the first time! Patrick's Artisan Bakery out of Marshfield, VT bakes small-batch granola on a 120+ year-old hilltop farm. We taste a lot of granola in our network and we especially loved Patrick's.

But Patrick himself is worth knowing! He's an arborist, human rights activist, and former executive director of Vermont Refugee Assistance who spent five years in the 1980s walking across East and Central Africa with two donkeys (Nyagah and Xerox). He worked with UNICEF on health resources for women and children, but realized "it was more an immersion into African communities so that he could learn from them (learning languages, cultures and Africans' aspirations and designs for their own future) - and bring those lessons back to his own country and communities (understanding the enormous impact that the U.S. has on other countries and communities - especially during the Cold War)." He came back to Vermont, co-founded an organization supporting survivors of torture and trauma, and in 2010 he even testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in support of the Refugee Protection Act. Eventually he channeled decades of energy and his Italian grandmother's baking tradition into granola.

Certified organic, sweetened with Vermont maple syrup, gluten free, non-GMO. We recommend starting with Totally Oataly and pairing it with The Larson Farm yogurt.

It's full-on summer and we have CORN! Specifically: Warner Farm sweet corn. 🌽 It's here. The Pioneer Valley is abloom. Just pop some Ploughgate Creamery butter on top and it's ready to go!

Blueberry season. 🫐 Green Mountain Orchards in Putney, VT has been growing on their hillside since 1914 - farming 18 acres of IPM blueberries alongside apples, peaches, raspberries, and more. Today, the third and fourth generations of the Darrow family are still managing the farm! On our list and ready to go!

Check out Giulietta - chef Michael Navarette's latest spot! We have loved working with Michael in all of his roles and this one is so exciting: a sunny, all-day Italian restaurant in Midtown Manhattan just a few steps from Grand Central.

Michael is a fellow Vermonter and he's keeping the connection strong. Every week they're bringing in little gem from up in Burlington's Intervale and broccolini from .farm. Northeast produce is landing on plates in the heart of Midtown!
