Winter squash is made its way onto the stand, and Liz has been busy getting it all set up and ready for you!

Roast it, stuff it, mash it, turn it into soup, or let it sit on your counter for a week because it looks nice and you’re “thinking about it.” No judgment. We’ve all been there.

🥬 Say hello to Mckenzie... newest farmstand team member and unofficial Minister of Greens at Bardwell Farm.

Mckenzie wanted us to pass along one very important public service announcement:

You should all be eating more greens.

We don’t know if this is advice, a warning, or the beginning of a full-blown kale intervention, but honestly… she has a point.

There’s no better time than now to get more greens on your plate. Salad them. Sauté them. Sneak them into a sandwich. Pretend you were going to eat them anyway. We support all strategies.

Stop by the farmstand, say hi to Mckenzie and let her know you’re doing your part.

🍎 Honeycrisp apples are here!

We have Honeycrisp apples at the farmstand from our friends at Pine Hill Orchard.

Crunchy, sweet, juicy, and basically impossible to eat quietly. Honeycrisps are one of those apples that announce fall before the calendar gets a chance to.

Stop by, grab a bag, and bring home a little apple orchard-season goodness 🍂

The farmstand is starting to look a little more like fall, and we are not mad about it.

We have mums available now — the perfect way to bring a little color to your porch, front steps, patio, or garden while the season starts to turn.

🥔 You know fall is getting close when the potatoes hit the farmstand!

We have Russet and Yukon Gold potatoes available now, from our friends at Smiarowski Farm. And this is just the beginning. Coming soon, we’ll also have white potatoes, red potatoes, and baby potato medley joining the lineup.

There’s something about seeing potatoes out on the stand that feels like the season starting to shift. Roasted, mashed, baked, fried, tucked into soups or stacked next to a Sunday dinner, potatoes are one of those simple foods that somehow make everything feel a little more like fall.
