We are thrilled to announce that the 35th Annual Friends of Wesley Chili Cook Off was a tremendous success! With 147 attendees, we were able to raise an incredible $14,717.00 to support our mission of helping students grow in faith and community.
The night was filled with excitement as we heard inspiring student testimonies, shared in worship, and enjoyed the delicious chili prepared by our talented chefs (pastors) from across the district. It was truly a night to remember, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to support our cause from donating silent auction items to voting for your favorite chili.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our winner of the Golden Spoon Rev. Todd Watson for his pastoral leadership and service. His dedication and commitment to our community have been an inspiration to us all.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Main Street UMC for their invaluable help in securing the Golden Spoon for the year. We to look forward to seeing Main Street defend the title next year.
Last but certainly not least, we would like to give a big shoutout to Kim Johnson, Chris Adams, Kathy Walker, and Christy Morris for their behind-the-scenes work in making the event the most beautiful and welcoming it could be. The flowers and setting were outstanding! Without their tireless efforts, the night would not have been possible.
Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the 35th Annual Friends of Wesley
To the top, Wesley Style!
