There was a time when the only way to get Lil Butcher Shoppe sausage was to walk through the front doors in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

We're incredibly proud to say that you can now find Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage at Brookshire Brothers!

That may sound like a simple sentence, but for a small Mississippi business, it means a whole lot more.

It means years of early mornings, long days, recipes we refused to cut corners on, customers who kept coming back, and a community that told enough people about our sausage that eventually word traveled.

And now it’s traveling a little farther!

To everyone who has bought a pack, cooked it for their family, brought it to a tailgate, recommended it to a friend, or supported our lil shoppe along the way: you helped put us on these shelves.

And we sure can’t wait for more families to find us!

The Sausage Search might be done, but the memories will last! It took us all over the Hattiesburg area from tiny treasures at The Hattiesburg Pocket Museum and campus stops at USM to Petunia’s BBQ, The Lucky Rabbit and, of course, The Lil Butcher Shoppe!! 🥩🥩

Thank you to everyone who followed the clues, joined the search and showed our local businesses and hotspots some love!
