As I celebrate the tenth year of Ed’s Backyard Bees, I am continually grateful for everyone who has helped this little(ish) hobby take off. It truly does take a village—from my friends in our amazing beekeeping community to all the customers, bee fans, and honey connoisseurs who have given me the energy and support to do what I love. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

And I reserve a special thanks for all the amazing local businesses who have trusted me to provide honey for their recipes, fancy coffees, and general sales. Mysterious bee behavior: washboarding! 🍯🐝

This weird behavior is one of the lingering mysteries of the bee world. Nobody has completely figured out what they’re doing here. Any ideas?
