At Ladner x Ladner, our Brangus influenced cattle are handled regularly by various family members depending on the season.

This frequent interaction helps desensitize the cattle, making for easy penning, sorting, and transport. As a result, our cattle exhibit calm,

manageable dispositions. We focus on efficiency, with an emphasis on using seasonal grazing (summer and winter forage) as our primary growth source.



Breeding Information:

All heifers were artificially inseminated (A.I.) in the first week of

December 2025 using Registered Brangus Bulls:



CB Paramount 7139H2 (Owned by T3 Brangus and Cavender Brangus)

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Tally Farms 🌟

These heifers are among some of Tally Farms’ best replacement heifers. They will calve as two-year-olds. Tally Farms primarily raises Red and Black Angus, along with Herefords. This offering includes 3 straight Red Angus, 3 Red White Face (RWF), and 3 Black Angus heifers.

These heifers are bred to Red Angus bulls and have been raised on forages and supplemented with feed to make them easier to handle.

They are up to date on their vaccinations and were wormed at the end of July 2026.

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Megehee Cattle Co 🌟

Megehee Cattle Company is bringing 18 home-grown commercial Brangus or Brangus cross heifers to the Southern Producers Replacement Heifer Sale. We have been in the commercial cattle business since 1970 and have consistently selected cattle that thrive in the southeastern US. We have been using Cow Creek and Town Creek Brangus bulls since 1999. Our cow herd is home-grown with the exception of some F1 Braford cows that we purchased as yearlings and raised in our bred heifer production program. The cows in our herd are kept because they have good attitudes, are fertile and are easy-keepingThese heifers are bred to low birthweight Brangus bulls and will be 4 to 7 months bred on sale date.

We use the MSU Vet school ambulatory service for our veterinarian herd work and are dedicated to following an excellent internal and external parasite control program. We employ BQA practices, including how we handle our herd, weaned calves, bulls and heifers. All the heifers are not pets, but they come when you call and some will eat out of your hand. They are accustomed to electric fences as well as traditional barbed wire and net wire fences.

We’re proud to bring these 18 heifers to the sale and look forward to seeing some of our repeat customers.

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Tim Jefcoat 🌟

We have consigned heifers every year in the Southern Producer’s Sale. This year we have an outstanding set of heifers that are ready to take home. They are developed on grass, followed a strict vaccinations program, and were palpated in late July. These heifers are out of English/Brangus cows and are bred to Spur S and T3 Brangus bulls.

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Robinson Farms 🌟

These heifers were exposed to a LBW Sim-Angus bull from Ishee Simmentals for 60 days and will calve in late Sept through early November.

They are current on vaccinations and were boostered in May with their herd mates.

They have been raised and handled according to BQA guidelines and should make productive momma cows.

Some are sired by T-3 Brangus and Sedgewood Angus bulls. Several are from McGuffee Hereford bulls, so fertility and productivity are bred into them!

These Brangus cross heifers will calve out from September through mid-November. They were bred to a LBW T-3 Brangus bull. They were developed on ryegrass, summer forages, with very minimal grain. These heifers are current on all of their vaccines.

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Edgar Farms🌟

This year Edgar Farms is bringing 23 home raised heifers.
Out of these (19) are black and (4) are red. They are out of Angus and Sim-Angus cows and are Sired by Black or Red Angus bulls. Sires of these heifers were selected for growth and Maternal traits. Mommas of these heifers produce top end calves every year and were born and raised here on our farm. These heifers were selected from a group of 60 plus. They were synchronized and AI’ed to “Republic “ (angus at ABS) and then exposed to a son of “Fireball”(angus at ABS). They will all be 7 months bred as of sale day. They are all up to date on their vaccinations and administered cydectin injectable on 7/21/2026. They are currently weighing 1100 + pounds. Heifers have all calved unassisted for many years now. These cattle have been handled by the Edgar family and have great disposition. Pictures of calves from last years heifers we did not sale are included.

🌟 Producer Spotlight: Sanford Farms 🌟

We have been running predominantly Red Angus cattle since 2011. The dams of these heifers are mostly moderate-framed, good mamas with excellent dispositions.

Since weaning, these heifers have rotated between two small pastures. Their primary forage has been Bahia grass, with access to ryegrass during the winter and Tifleaf 3 millet during the summer.
