🏆🏅What a way to wrap up our show season at the Kidding Around Goat Shows-a new permanent Champion!!🏆🏅

💜💛CH Hope Hill Farm Spicy Curry *B💛💜

He was 🖤💛grand champion under Jay Rudolph, earning his third leg, and then to our absolute JOY, he went 💜💛BEST IN SHOW!!!!

This is our first BIS show win, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have it be with one of our homebred boys and son of our beloved 🏅GCH Pleasant-R-Farm Pepper 1*M.🏅

We took 1 doe in milk: Fairland Farm SC Java Bean. She got second and third (I think) in the 3-5 year old class.

🌟We also took a new jr. herdsire who placed second in both rings. We will introduce him later!🌟

As usual, we loved spending the day with friends and catching up. I got some human baby snuggles and watched all the kids play together so well, even though they don't get to see each other too often.

Also, a BIG congrats to the Kingrey family at Greenbrier Farm for also coming home with a new permanent champion: 🏅CH IlenesRascals Hope's Red Jasper!!!🏅 We have a son of Jasper on our farm (Craven's Creek RJ Rock Candy). Jasper is a gorgeous buck, and we are so excited to have several daughters from his son!

UPDATE: SOLD

💥TWO SENIOR DOES SEEKING NEW HERD:💥
I've been avoiding this post because I really don't want to let go of either of these girls, but I just don't have room to keep all the keepers.

Both of these does are beautiful and productive. Both are great mothers and kid flawlessly. Both are trained to hand or machine milk and have good stand manners. Both lead well and have been shown in multiple shows since they were kids. Both are mild-mannered within the herd, friendly, and very easy to handle. Both will go with ADGA papers and have great productive genetics behind them!

They would be perfect 4-H animals, brood does, or home milkers.
CAE negative herd within the year. Both are currently in milk, but can be dried up before leaving. Could be exposed to one of my bucks for an extra fee.

🌟Hope Hill Farm Cinco De Mayo🌟
Dam is CH, Maternal Granddam is GCH. Maya is one of the most productive does in my herd. She is extremely dairy and has her dam's long feminine neck and beautiful head. She's easy to milk with big open orifices. Her attachments aren't what I'd like them to be for a super competitive show animal in the open show arena, which is why I'm making the hard decision to sell her and retain her gorgeous 2026 daughter. She was Reserve Grand Champion at our county fair and third in a competitive class at the Indiana State Fair. The judge said she was the most dairy in the class.

Asparagus is from Agape's Prize lines. She is wide and has a beautiful topline. She has plumb teats with open orifices and is so easy to hand milk. Asparagus has had some beautiful daughters and I have retained from her as well.

🏅🏆Indiana State Fair🏆🏅

We had a wonderful show. I’m so proud of my kids for all the hard work preparing for the trip. Packing and clipping and clipping and clipping…😳 We took 5 seniors and 8 jrs.

Senior Youth Show:
Grand Champion: 🏆🥇
CH Hope Hill Farm St. Lucy

We couldn’t be more excited about this. Lucy was also Grand Champion Senior doe last year. She’s such a beautiful and special doe to our herd, and to have her receive this honor two years in a row is such a blessing.

Reserve GCH: 🏆🥈
Fairland Farm SC Java Bean

Java is a second freshener and an up-and-coming doe in our herd. We expect big things from her as she continues to mature and gain capacity.

No big ribbons in the Youth Jr. Show, although we did have two does in the grand drive:
🌟Hope Hill Farm C Ruth (Senior Kid) was first in her class
🌟Hope Hill Farm RC St. Anastasia (Jr. kid) was second in her class.

Open ADGA show:

No big wins in the open show, as this is a very competitive show and the judge preferred a different style of doe, which is just part of the beast of showing livestock.

Senior show:
Get of sire: 2nd and 3rd place
Herd: 2nd place
The rest of our girls mostly placed in the middle or near the front of their respective classes.

🍯Ben's honey received a Special Merit (highest honors) for the second year in a row!

As usual, we enjoyed the show, exploring the state fair, hanging out in the barn, and especially time with Lilly and Ryan, staying at their home, and with Matt's sister's family and my sister's family! The kids had some much-needed cousin time! I also survived driving, unloading, and parking the trailer through Indy and fair traffic-a first for me. I was terrified (just ask my family), but with my kids' help and encouragement, I made it!!!

This was also the final event of Sam's 4-H career. I'm incredibly proud of him for all the years of showing our herd. He is an amazing showman, and seeing him show Lucy in the Best of Show lineup two years in a row was such an accomplishment. I'll really miss him in 4-H and all the other shows he would attend with me.

We've been busy in the soap barn, and our fall lineup is finally in production!

This year we're bringing back a few of your favorite seasonal scents... and introducing TWO brand-new fragrances that we can't wait for you to try. 🧼

These bars are freshly made and are now beginning their curing process. That means they'll need a few weeks before they're ready to head to their new homes—but trust us, they're worth the wait!

We've been keeping a little secret... and we're so excited to finally share it!

If you've been with Hope Hill Farm from the beginning, you know our laundry soap originally came in plastic containers. When we first launched, we chose the most affordable packaging we could find because, honestly, we had no idea if anyone would even buy it. 😆

Fast forward to today, and our laundry soap has become our best-selling product. 🥳 Because of your support, we're now able to make a change we've wanted to make for a long time.

We're officially transitioning to these new eco-friendly refill pouches! 💚

Not only do they take up less space in your home, but they're easier to ship, and eliminate the plastic container while still holding the same laundry soap you know and love.

We'll be phasing out our plastic containers as our current inventory sells, so don't be surprised if you see both styles for a little while. The soap you love isn't changing—just the packaging.
