Good morning from the water farm.... Nola gave birth to 2 ram lambs this morning (or last night). Both appear to be healthy and full of energy. Momma looks to be doing fine as well.

A lot of broodiness going on here at the farm. Chicks hatching and learning life, and ducks and chickens sitting on eggs everywhere!

Who are we?

Chicken & Biscuits Farm was established in 2017 when our family finally moved from the city to the country. We looked for over a decade with no hope in sight, then a 5 acre plot between Haughton and Bossier City, LA popped up and we jumped on it. We have 7 kids, 5 of which are still at home with us, the older 2 are out on their own. Grandma and papaw also bought into the farm life and are currently working on their tiny home to which they call โ€œThe Cottageโ€. We enjoy raising chickens, sheep, lambs, and rabbits. We plan on adding quail and pigs in the future. We also have an orchard that was planted in 2017, which includes peaches, pears, plums, and apples. Of course, every farm also has to have a garden. The thought of doing interactive courses on specific subjects is something we are aslo entertaining. Youโ€™re probably saying โ€œThatโ€™s great, but what do you offer now?โ€. We currently offer farm eggs, lambs, rabbits, and fertile chicken eggs. Welcome, and feel free to contact us for more information.
