When life gives you a Shop, you make a Home ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฅฐ.

Kiddos and I cleaned another section of our shome. It's been difficult since we piled EVERYTHING into it when we moved, making it super tricky to do the remodel and live in it all simultaneously ha. But we make it work!

I found 3 boxes of wine! YES! Ha. One box was from everyone when we closed up shop there in North Idaho on our last market day. So sweet ! Even a few heart warming letters made the move. We miss you all โฃ๏ธ

A beautiful forest, sunsets, a great glass of wine, fuzzy sweaters .. but a bold cup of hot coffee and a torn off edge of my Sourdough bread is TOP of the list ! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘Œ

Our Farms History

โ€œ Love the Earth as you would love yourselfโ€ - John Denver

Our Farm has been in our family for years, since 1916 ! My Great GREAT Grandparents; James and Bessie Matheson, were the first Owners of the land, making me the 5th Generation to be here on the Farm. He was a Business man in Spokane, and he bought the property to be a vacation getaway from the busy city. Eventually he liked the farming idea, and started harvesting the meadows. Later on in the 40โ€™s My Great Grandpa James had began running 100 head of cattle on the land. Owning more than 350 acres at the time here on the lake. Over time his son took over; what now is my Grandpa John Matheson. As a kid Grandpa would have to take care of chickens, and milk the dairy cows here on the farm, and the neighbors farm as well. My Grandfather and Grandma Nancy moved out here in the early 70โ€™s. He built this house that we live in today. He built all the buildings (except the old Barn that my Great Great Grandfather built in the 20โ€™s with his buddies from town). My Grandpa John had established a Hereford heard of his own, and ran cattle for over 2 decades. In 2016 my husband and I moved out here with our Son. We have established our own heard of cattle , and have slowly been adding to our chickens. We have since had another son, whom we happened to name after Wyatt Earp.. the old cowboy.

We both come from Farming Families, and its so great to be able to keep the Farm going. Our goals as farmers is to produce the most natural food we can, weather it be for you or your animals ! we try to be a full circle farm, and slowly we are being able to produce more products ! We hope everyone who visits are farm sees how much love we put into it, and can experience the beauty that it holds.
