🚨 Winter Prep on the Farm! ❄️🐓

As winter approaches, we’re stepping up our game to keep our chickens cozy and happy! Instead of housing them in the barn with limited sunlight, we’re building something special—a hoop house inspired by the John Suscovich Tractor design! Our (C)oop house will measure 16’x32’ to help ensure our chickens have plenty of room!

✅ Secure Base: We’ll use hard cloth to keep predators out.

✅ Warm & Bright: Replacing the tarp with 6-mil greenhouse plastic to trap heat and let sunlight in.

✅ Deep Bedding: A warm, comfy winter floor for the chickens, which will later turn into amazing compost for our garden!

We can’t wait to see our hens thriving this winter and giving back to the soil in spring. Stay tuned for the build process—big things are happening at ! 🌱
