3-4 days a week (wednesday- saturday) will provide more details directly

direct bagel making experience not required BUT having some kitchen experience/ knowing way around a kitchen is very important.

you will be working independently.

ideal candidate: quick learner, pay close attention to detail, and be comfortable in a very Fast paced environment. someone who likes to have fun but also put their head down and get to work!

seeing bakery closure announcements every day is heartbreaking.

owning a bakery has been the most rewarding thing iā€™ve ever done! but it is also without a doubt the most challenging thing ive ever done.

i joke about never being right in my forecasting but it really is so so difficult to plan a ā€œbakeā€ based on how many people might walk through the doors on a given day.

whatā€™s the weather? what events are going on? does your kid have a soccer game? away on vaca? sick? it all impacts the bottom line.

the last thing we want is to sell out leaving the case with crumbs and people without goods but we also donā€™t want 100+ pieces of pastry to be sitting there at the end of the day.

bills and rent donā€™t stop because of a slow day. and busy days might mean more ingredients need to be bought that wasnā€™t planned for.

Itā€™s like trying to balance a seesaw with sand on one side and rocks on the other.

life is more expensive than ever right now and we know that as allergy and celiac etc families the costs are even higher.

for each of you that comes through our doors, keeps our lights on and allows us to serve our wonderful community, thank you.
