We are currently hiring a full time crew member from April through August to help with all aspects of the farm operations. Seven Springs Perennials is a brand new farm, in its first season of production. We (the farmers), Andrew and Aaron, are a young couple farming family land. We are located near the Upper Chesapeake Bay, in Havre De Grace, Maryland. We have a combined 21 years of farming experience. At Seven Springs Perennials we are currently planting a variety of agroforestry trees and shrubs as well as growing herbs and flowers for wholesale and farmers markets. This position would be great for anyone interested in having their own farm one day, as it will be direct experience establishing Seven Springs in its first season.
Job Description:
The job runs from the beginning of April until the end of August and will be 40 hours a week. Duties will include:
● greenhouse work
● field prep
● flower and herb crops maintenance (weeding, harvest, irrigation etc.) ● Flower and herb crop drying/tea & spice prep/wreath making
● planting chestnut trees and other woody perennials
Employees will work farmers markets and help with wholesale distribution of herbal products and flowers. There is a homestead size kitchen garden and flock of hens for eggs, work in the garden, chicken chores and food preservation will be part of the job.

Compensation:
$1000/month plus room and board. The kitchen will be shared and we are open to communal meals. Employees will have their own private bedroom, bathroom and living space within our home. Wifi is provided.
