Lot 35: JBob Linebred 421 - Heifer Bull. This guy flat put the hammer down from turnout to being brought back in from grass. His mother is as moderate of a cow as you would like to make one but she dang sure doesn’t know it. She is stunning in her type and function. I think you could take this bull into your heifers for a couple years and turn him out with the cows for the remaining years and not skip a beat. Dams progeny ratio BW/98-WW/102.

Lot 7: JBob Thumper 5002 - Herd bull. I just can’t say enough good about this flush of calves. There are two of these bulls and I will retain one to breed cows here this spring. The mother is now 17 years old and still producing. We have her in the flush center now where she will remain until she can’t give us any more eggs. She is the epitome of what a range cow should be phenotypically. If longevity with proven production is on your list, this cow has it. I highly recommend this Bull. I will be retaining 50% interest and possession of this bull. Dams progeny ratio BW/96-WW/109.

Lot 74: Hould Blackbird 5217 - Practical x 9030. Double bred Juanada. I don’t know if I can make a much better made bull than Practical 213. I think he will be a bull that will be used for many generations. The dam is a cow that is showy and correct. But how could she not with 5522, Jetstream, Basin Q-Bar and the old Juanada to anchor it all.

Lot 34: JBob Juice 471 - This is a very nice made Juice bull. The mother of this individual has a stellar pedigree. Double bred Juanada and double bred Emulation, also tying together 1650 and 0228 who are the two donor cows that I will be going on with in the future. Lot 6: JBob Cascade 541 - Herd bull potential. I bred a few top cows in hopes of building a new herd sire for us. Each cow was hand-picked for this mating based on their type and function. They all had to have the old foundation Juanada cow in their immediate cow line. The mother of this bull hands down meets that criteria. We chose to retain the son out of our herd sire 767’s full sister. I feel this is an excellent opportunity. I will be retaining 50% interest and possession of this bull. Lot 73: Hould Juanada 5209 - Jock x 1010. We will be calving our first Jock cows this spring. They appear to be excellent keeping cows and made right. The mother of this heifer is shapely in her design and comes from the 2115 cow that has always done an outstanding job and made cattle with above average performance with loads of style.

Lot 33: JBob Emblem 442 - Heifer Bull. I used this bull to breed cows last year. His full brothers were well received last year in the sale. An entire page wouldn’t give me enough room to tell the deep history behind this bull’s mother and her full sisters and full brothers. Not to mention the story behind the entire cow family. It is truly a great pleasure to own this cow and all her sisters. I have numerous heifers out of her by a few different sires. They are all equally impressive. Lot 5: JBob Shadow Rider 528 - Heifer bull. If you’re trying to make moderate framed females that are sweet fronted, functional and range ready this is your bull. His mother is backed by two of the best sires that we have found to make functional range adaptable cattle. This bull’s mother has done an excellent job for us and had the top selling bull a couple years ago sired by a Remarkable. Don’t overlook this bull. Lot 72: Hould Dixie Erica 5206 - Practical x 820D. Another Practical daughter with a lot of potential. I bought this cow a couple years ago from a lifelong friend of mine and she has always been front of the pack at calving. She is a nice cow with a fabulous pedigree as well. Loads of potential in this one.
