Aloha, friends and family! 🌺
From Chicago kitchens to the shores of Oʻahu, my journey has always been about more than food. It’s about bringing people together, sharing aloha, and making sure nobody leaves the table hungry.
This year, I’m honored to compete in Carla Hall’s Favorite Chef 2026 competition! The winner receives $25,000, a feature in Taste of Home Magazine, and an exclusive culinary experience with Carla Hall, while helping support the mission of the James Beard Foundation.
🏝️ My signature dish? Lau Lau — tender pork and butterfish wrapped in taro leaves, steamed with love and island tradition.
🍴 My culinary inspirations? Gordon Ramsay and Chef Kelsey Barnard Clark.
🚚 My dream? To use the prize money to help build a mobile kitchen that serves fresh meals to those experiencing hardship across Oʻahu. Because food isn’t just nourishment—it’s dignity, hope, and aloha.
