***** UPDATE FOUND*****
Thank you all so much!!!!
This is one instance where social media is super helpful, so friends and followers I need your help.
Thursday 10/8 around 9am, I set my 11.5 week-old Basset Hound puppy down to potty on our 650 acre farm and walked 25 feet to the home office to print something. In that time my Karakachan LGD (who I didn’t realize had run her GPS collar dead) wandered off and he must have followed her. 30 minutes later she appeared, but I had been out searching so I didn’t see where she came from. The rain kept us from using the drone for hours. When the rain cleared we searched with the thermal drone and we could see every deer, rabbit, raccoon and fox. Gus is not here. I think when I was repeatedly driving up and down 1474 yelling for him it actually made him go toward the road and someone picked him up. I have posted to all the lost pet pages and I have contacted the shelters and vet clinics.
Last seen near East CR 1474 in Hawthorne.
I hope someone sees this and leads me to him. If you have him and you have seen my posts, just know I know way too many people for you to keep him. $500 reward is being offered for his safe return and I will ask absolutely no questions. Just bring him home, now, or contact me and I will pick him up. Please.
Also, if you have some tidbit of unhelpful advice about what I should have done differently, keep it to your judgmental self. I have already beat myself up plenty about what I should have done differently and I can assure you no one cares for their animals like we do. I have the vet/feed bills to prove it but I’ll just ignore you and instead delete your keyboard-troll comments like you deserve.
Thank you!!
