Ten years ago today, Moleaer was founded around a wastewater challenge and an idea that nanobubble technology could offer a better way to solve real-world water challenges.

At the time, nanobubbles were largely the domain of academic research. There wasn't an established commercial category or a roadmap for where the technology could be applied.

So we got to work.

What began with one wastewater challenge by Moleaer co-founders Warren Russell and Bruce Scholten has grown into more than 10,000 Moleaer systems across 55+ countries, treating more than 1 billion gallons of water every day.

Today, Moleaer nanobubble technology is used across wastewater, agriculture, aquaculture, surface water, natural resource recovery and more.

But 10 years isn't just a milestone for Moleaer. It's a reflection of how far nanobubble technology has come, from promising science to a technology being used at commercial scale around the world.

None of that happens without the employees who have built Moleaer, the customers who trust our technology, and the partners and researchers who continue to help move it forward.

Our mission for the next decade remains the same: help our customers achieve better results while using less water, less chemistry and less energy.

From cleaning irrigation intake filters twice a day to about once a year. That's what improved reservoir water quality did for this commercial strawberry greenhouse.

Low dissolved oxygen and algae had degraded their irrigation reservoir, clogging filtration and turning irrigation into a daily maintenance challenge. After installing two Moleaer nanobubble generators:

✅ Routine filter cleaning was reduced from twice daily to about once a year
🧪 Hydrogen peroxide dosing was eliminated
💧 Reservoir water became visibly clearer

Water quality affects every step of irrigation. Starting at the reservoir can reduce maintenance, eliminate chemical treatments and improve the reliability of the entire irrigation system.

As temperatures rise, dissolved oxygen levels in irrigation water drop and that can put added pressure on the root zone during some of the most critical growing months of the year.

Low oxygen conditions can impact nutrient uptake and create favorable conditions for pathogens like Pythium and Fusarium, especially in warm greenhouse environments.

Our team was recently onsite commissioning Moleaer nanobubble technology aboard several wellboats, continuing to raise the bar for oxygenation across the global wellboat fleet.

Why wellboat operators are turning to Moleaer nanobubbles:

Conventional oxygenation tops out around 40% oxygen transfer efficiency. The bubbles are simply too large. They rise and the oxygen is lost before the fish can use it.

Moleaer nanobubbles are different. At less than 200 nanometers, they're neutrally buoyant, negatively charged, and remain suspended in the water column for extended periods, unlocking next-generation oxygen transfer efficiency of up to 86%.

For wellboat operators, that means:
