The Mad Farmer has always stood for something deeper than farming. For , he was a reminder to stay rooted, to know the land, tend to what is in our care, and resist a world that asks us to move faster, consume more, and forget where we come from.
That spirit is the inspiration for the .
We’ve been carrying it from farm to farm, kitchen to kitchen, town to town, while meeting the growers, makers, cooks, and believers who are choosing a different way.
A way that puts soil before scale.
Connection before content.
Stewardship before extraction.
And soul back into the things we make.
Wendell Berry gave us the Mad Farmer.
We’re just carrying his spirit down the road.
