I’m actually a little scared to post this… 😬🍺

Because the second I tell you people THE OG IS BACK, all hell is about to break loose.

Yep. Original Gangster — our flagship West Coast IPA — is BACK ON TAP at Brewscape Beer Co. 🔥

And if history has taught me anything, it’s that you beautiful beer-hoarding heathens have absolutely ZERO chill when OG makes its return. 😂 So will it make it through the weekend? Honestly… I wouldn’t bet my four-pack on it.

And before somebody comes crying to me Monday asking where the OG went — REMEMBER: we’re CLOSED Sunday & Monday for Labor Day.

Brewscape Beer Co.’s First Annual Mac Daddy Chili Cookoff is officially in the books, and GOOD LORD did y’all come hungry. 😂

We had cold beers flowing, jams rolling all afternoon, copious amounts of food, and some seriously impressive pots of chili and pans of mac & cheese. Our bellies were full, our pants were questioning our decisions, and eventually… winners had to be chosen.

🥇 CHILI CHAMPION — STAN!
Many of you know this notorious devil, and Stan came to WIN with his smoked brisket chili. Smoky, hearty, meaty goodness that won over the crowd and took home the crown. 👑🌶️

🥇 MAC & CHEESE CHAMPION — JIM!
Another familiar face who clearly knows his way around some cheese. Jim brought the heat with his baked mac & cheese, and the people have spoken. Creamy, cheesy, baked perfection. 🧀🔥

Congratulations, gentlemen! Bragging rights are officially yours… at least until next time. 😏

A HUGE thank you to everyone who cooked, tasted, voted, drank a few beers, danced to the tunes and helped make our first Mac Daddy Cookoff such a damn good time.

Labor Day weekend is sneaking up on us, and even your friendly neighborhood beer farmers need to put the tractor in park once in a while. 😏

Yep. CLOSED closed. We’re taking a much-needed couple of days to kick our boots up before we dive headfirst into FRESH HOP SEASON + HOLIDAY BREWING… and things are about to get real tasty around here. 👀🌿🍻

Grab your stein and dust off the lederhosen because Sunday, September 27 from 12–5 PM, we’re ringing in Oktober the way beer lovers have been doing it for more than 200 years!

Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810 as a massive celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The party was such a hit, Bavaria basically said, “Yeah…we should definitely do THAT again.” And thus, a legendary tradition was born. 🍻

We’ll kick off our own tradition by tapping a FASSER of Beste vom Besten Oktoberfestbier — Best of the Best, baby!

🍺 Märzen — amber, malty, smooth and beautifully toasted. Traditionally brewed in March and lagered through summer.

Okay, North Idaho… this one belongs to YOU. 🥹🍺🏆

For the second year in a row, you beautiful beer-loving humans voted Brewscape Beer Co. People’s Choice at Ales for the Trail—and we’re still riding pretty high on that one.

Especially because this year we showed up with a brand-new beer: Squatch Me Now Mango Wheat 🥭🍺

We took a chance, poured something new into your glasses, and you sent us home with another People’s Choice award.

That means more to us than we can properly put into words.

We are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a community of real beer lovers—people who are curious about beer, appreciate the craft, try new styles, talk beer with us, challenge us, support local breweries and genuinely care about what’s being poured into their glass.

THAT is our kind of community.

We’ve been fortunate enough to bring home several People’s Choice awards over these last few years, and every single one carries a little extra weight.

Professional competitions, medals and judging absolutely matter. They push us to become better brewers and keep refining our craft.

But People’s Choice?

That one comes directly from the people we brew for. ❤️
