Did you just hear about me on the Fabulous413 show? Are you wondering where you can get some of my tulips for Mother’s Day? Head over to brand new farmstore in Easthampton to snap up a bunch of them along with some asparagus just in time for brunch with your mamas! Pause and pivot farm has been working tireless all winter to set up their new store front, growing container and woodwork shop. I’m so excited that we are now neighbors in not one but two of our business locations, we both have farms in Williamsburg and now my floristry studio is practically next door to their new farmstore, congrats to Miana and Terry and the whole family for this huge new step!

Happy earth day to all my fellow earth loving babes. captured me loving up on the final flowers from last season so perfectly and I thought it was due time I share them because they capture the tender open-hearted relationship I have with this farm, flowers in general and earth all together so perfectly. In my favorite poets words “you only have the let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.” For me that is earth, nature, the great outdoors, god, whatever you want to call this spinning mass of rock in space I have deep reverent love for them ❤️‍🔥🌸🌱🌞

Happy Trans Day of visibility to all who celebrate from your local Massachusetts trans florist. Today the Supreme Court officially said people like me are worth sending to convergence therapy. That should break your heart! Thank you for keeping us all up to date on all the latest trans news.

Over the last 5 years of severing predominantly q***r couples here in New England over 65% of those couples (yes I did the math) have included a gender diverse/trans individual. I love my clients. They are some of the most joyous, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, silly, creative, beautiful people I have ever met. And I can tell that they love me right back. That I set them at ease and create comfort in a space that was truly not built for either of us. I tell them often and always “your wedding day is your day. It is for you and to celebrate your love and no matter who tells you what about how you should do it it is you and your life way and your joy and your love that matters most. I will always be your vendor here to help you break every single binary that exists in the wedding industry, in your families’s expectations of this day, and beyond.” And I really mean that!

Happy spring equinox and the start to Aries season to all who celebrate! I wanted to share that I have decided not to run seasonal CSAs this year. Instead I plan to run a farmstand on Fruit St in noho instead. Flowers will be stocked in it weekly, Thursday-Sunday, unless I otherwise announce on here that the stand is closed that week. I am doing this to give myself more time to develop my floral artistry skills, and I hope it will save me a lot of time spent driving around and be more sustainable for the planet and me, as a one person operation, that way. I will, of course, still offer delivery for custom orders but now you’ll have to come to the stand if you want more regular flowers. I’m really excited to see how this goes! The stand will be open for business late April/early May if all goes as planned. Wish me luck below 🤞🏻🌷 Now I’m off to bask in this feral spring energy I feel coursing through my veins, chat soon! ❤️‍🔥🌸

As a small business I’ve felt challenged on how to respond to this winter full of 🧊. The more I speak out the more this app shuts me down and I rely on it for weddings, the aspect of this business that keeps it finically sustained. I both am not interested in virtue signaling or staying silent so here are some of my values, if you agree with them, welcome, I would be delighted to work with you on an event or be your local farmer/florist, if not I invite you to kindly find a florist who is less outspoken. This join me in supporting vital farming happening in g@z@! As a small biz I think the most important thing I can do during the Black Friday season is put my money where my mouth is. I’ve always said I want Flora to be a place of liberated joy. Here is a tangible way to can support that joy and share in it with me! it is the new farming project that is in honor of my friend . They do vital work like decentralized farming, veggie distribution, water truck deliveries, bread purchases and distribution, water pump instillation, and more! A!d is still so limited and hardly getting in and so I am continually reminded of how important it is to support farmers doing the essential work for feeding their people. This year I dream and pray for all people to be fed, nourished, connect to their ancestral land and at rest, will you help me make that reality happen? As Mariah says in this t3ndind audio, that I am using purely to see if this helps this get r3ach, “I don’t care about no presents underneath the Christmas tree!” And I really don’t.
