What started as a normal day doing oyster pickups and deliveries turned into a chaotic event—

My phone wouldn’t stop ringing, directions weren’t getting communicated…

and next thing you know, we’re on the Jamestown Ferry. 🚢😂

I am so glad I have a team that put up with my shenanigans 🩷

We had a special visitor today — a horseshoe crab!

Don’t worry, we made sure it was sent safely back into the water where it belongs.

It is always neat to see the different sea creatures we happen upon while crabbing and oystering.

I want to take a moment to recognize one of my incredible employees.

She came to me shortly after a life-threatening car accident and said, “I can’t lift more than 5 lbs right now, but I want to learn and I’ll give it my best.”

Today, I watched her lift full bushels of crabs into the steamer without hesitation. I sat back in awe of how far she’s come and every obstacle she has conquered. I truly admire her determination, resilience, and dedication.

I’m incredibly proud to have her on our team.🩷
