Located in the Toe of the Tar Heel State and literally the Top of Georgia. We’ll be brewing American craft beer in the style of both East and West Coasts.
Appalachian Grail Brewing was founded in 2018 and conceptualized many times over since 1995. Appalachian Grail is a small brewery located in the lower level of a winery tasting room in the Shooting Creek community of Clay County, NC. The Grail is a production brewery but the closest customer is very close...just look up. Beer will be available in kegs and eventually 16oz cans. First release is Q1, 2020. The location is approx. 3.75-hrs from Charlotte; 2-hrs from Atlanta; 2-hrs from Asheville; 30-min from Franklin; 20-min from Murphy; 15-min from Hiawassee, GA and 14.5 miles down hill from Winding Stair Gap on the Appalachian Trail.
On brew days, we’ll be blasting a healthy dose of Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, John Lee Ho**er and whatever the mood is. So the beer may be under the influence of those dudes. Our website is www.appalachiangrail.com
