We had grand plans for a pumpkin patch on the main field this year. Keeping it real talk, a bunch of deer continued to get into the farm and ate all of our baby pumpkins and flowers. The reality of of farming can be so hard, especially when farmers invest so much time to plan and plant seeds and transfer plant starts into the ground hoping to get a successful harvest! That doesn’t always happen and this is an example of such.

However, we are grateful to be able to support our local farms and pumpkin patches to bring in some pumpkins for the Fall festival, we can’t wait to see you soon!🌻

This week is all about getting ready for our Fall festival this Sunday 10 AM to Noon! We are so excited to be opening back up the farm to community members and we can’t wait to gather with you! We have just a few tickets left so if it has been on your mind to join us, please do! This is a great way to meet our family team behind the farm business and celebrate the Fall season🌻🎉

Today is our 7 year wedding anniversary! So grateful for all of the peaks and valleys that shape our foundation of our relationship. Feeling thankful also to be able to celebrate this milestone with our two littles this year! ❤️

Happiest of birthdays to our dear Rylynn! Ry you bring so much joy, excitement, creativity, happiness, and love into our lives each and every day! Today we celebrate you turning 3! It’s hard to believe it has been three years since you came into this world and joined our family, but at the same time it feels like you were always with us. We are so grateful for you and as you often say to us, thank you for everything ❤️

Over the weekend we built our annual porch scarecrow! It was Marlo’s first time and we used old chicken feed bags along with some of my old farm clothes to make our scarecrow. Such a nice way to slow down for a moment over the weekend and celebrate the beginning of the Fall season🍂

Gigi and Grandpa spent the day with us on the farm! I knew we had to get a picture at one another one of my fav spots; the maple tree! The changing colors of this tree are like art with all of the browns, yellows, and oranges. So many seasons we’ve spent her now with this being our 6th Fall season. So grateful for all who have went through the seasons with us✨

We’ve been watching our persimmons start to change colors on the trees and can’t wait for the harvest! In the past, we have made batches of dried persimmons, and they make a delicious snack! Hoping to roll out a small batch of these during the holidays✨
