It’s a First Rodeo! 🤠🐴

New Year, New Menu Items!! We’ve added a few new flavors and items to our menu. Check them out under our menu highlight!

One of our new flavors we’ll be offering is inspired by the popular Dubai Chocolate Pistachio - a chocolate shell with a semisweet chocolate ganache and a toasted kaitafi and pistachio cream center. We think this one will be a new favorite 🤭

We’ve been working on something new 👀👀👀

Vietnamese Flan 🍮 or Bánh flan is a smooth and soft custard covered in a dark amber caramel made with whole milk, eggs, egg yolks, and sugar. Our version has a little bit of Vietnamese Coffee for some extra flavor. The caramel is slightly bitter which helps cut through the sweetness of the custard to give you a rich but balanced dish. This bánh flan is a lighter custard compared to the Filipino leche flan. As always, we try to make our desserts “not too sweet” for that perfect bite 🥰

Merry Christmas to all of our friends, family, and customers! I may still only be a hobby baker (burnt out most of the time co of work lol), but your love and support has been heartwarming to say the least!

This year we tried something new as my father-in-laws birthday is on the 21st but we usually always combine it with Christmas. He’s been playing nurse the last month as my mother-in-law recovers from knee surgery, so I wanted to do something extra special and bake him a cake from scratch. I made a chocolate Bûche De Noël/Yule Log cake from scratch with a chocolate whipped cream frosting to keep it airy and light. It turned out delicious, and might turn into a new annual tradition 🥰

This year I finally had the time and energy to make some cute jellycat inspired macarons for our upcoming cousin holiday potluck. These were made nut-free to accommodate some nieces and nephews with nut allergies 🥰
