When my baby was on formula, I complained about making formula every few hours. I couldn't wait to start her on solids so I can rid myself of that chore. Solids were an even bigger nightmare. At that point our meals had to at least partially revolve around what she can eat. Going for a fast burger is no longer an option. Fast forward 4 years. Now we are asking her what to eat for dinner. Who's the boss now?!

I wonder sometimes what husbands do for food or what the bathrooms look like when their wives are recovering. And what if there are 1 or 2 older kids in the family to take care of. What do you do to take care of everybody's meals and also keep your sanity? Restaurant food everyday for 1-2 months until Mom is recovered? A house cleaning service? These are the times when the pace of modern society and the lost of the extended family feels extra painful.

We had a record turnout at our latest tasting event. We ran into fire code limitations on how many people can be in the room. Good problem to have, but still not very comfortable to have this problem creep up to us like that. We'll need a different room next time!!

Before gender cakes and ultrasonic imaging and 3D ultrasound machines, there was the kick. My mother-in-law told me if the baby kicks outward and towards the center, it's girl. If the baby kicks to the side and inward, it's a boy. Worked for me. ;P

It's hard work (and expensive) to maintain a policy of "Customer First". AND it's very rewarding to know that after all that work, the customers are happy!!! This week has been filled with so many customized meals and bending over backwards to ensure our customers are enjoying our food, rejuvenating their body, and spending their time the way they expected. It's great to hear positive feedback from our customers! I just wish they share it with the world on Yelp or FB. :)

We are doing a husband meal promotion. If you add a husband meal with your order, you will get FREE delivery. Husband meals are healthy and balance meals for the husband or other family members. It consists of a soup, a vegetable dish, a meat dish, rice, and a dessert, cooked using the same methods and care we use for the postpartum meals. It beats the greasy food and MSG-laden food you get from restaurants any day.
